Ingredients
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat Waffle Iron.

  2. In a large bowl, mix wet ingredients, almond milk, applesauce and maple syrup.

  3. Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder and mix until combined.

  4. Lightly coat waffle iron with cooking spray.

  5. Measure about 1/2 cup of batter per waffle. (Amount may differ based on waffle iron but measure out enough batter to almost cover the waffle mold). If using a mini iron, measure a 1/4 cup.

  6. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes until desired doneness. (One minute for a mini iron.)

  7. Lightly coat waffle iron again with cooking spray. (Do this between each set of waffles).

  8. Repeat steps until batter is used.

  9. Serve with maple syrup and fruit is desired.

  10. Enjoy!
